Ensures new hires have a smooth introduction to the company. This VA handles the paperwork and orientation setup for new employees, making them feel welcome and informed from day one.
Our HR onboarding specialist VAs can handle everything below and more:
- Prepare onboarding documents and packets (offer letters, tax forms, NDAs) and guide new hires through completing them.
- Schedule orientation sessions and training for new employees, and coordinate with IT to ensure equipment and accounts are ready for the hire.
- Introduce new hires to company policies and the employee handbook, making sure they understand essential information and have completed all required steps.
- Update employee data in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) – for example, entering new hire details, promotions, leave balances, or contact changes.
- Organize and maintain digital personnel files, ensuring documents like contracts, performance reviews, and sick leave records are filed correctly and easy to retrieve.
- Assist with regular record audits to make sure all HR files are current, complete, and compliant with data retention policies.
