Position responsibilities
Supports the engineering QA/QC processes. This VA helps check project documents for accuracy and adherence to standards, and might coordinate quality checklists and audits to ensure deliverables meet the required quality levels.
Our engineering QA VAs can handle everything below and more:
- Review project documentation (plans, calculations, test results) for completeness and correctness, flagging any missing approvals or inconsistent data.
- Use QA checklists to verify that all steps in the quality control process have been followed (e.g. design reviews, peer checks) before an engineering deliverable is finalised.
- Compile quality reports or summaries for project managers, noting any issues found and corrective actions taken, which supports continuous improvement in the firm’s processes.
