Position responsibilities
Serves as a first point of contact for a law firm’s clients. This VA manages incoming calls, emails, and live chats, addressing routine inquiries and ensuring messages reach the lawyer, which improves client service and responsiveness.
Our legal assistant VAs can handle everything below and more:
- Draft legal documents like contracts, wills, pleadings, or affidavits by filling in known information into firm-approved templates, then routing to the lawyer for review.
- Format and proofread documents to ensure they meet court or industry standards (proper headings, citations, spacing) and are free of typos or formatting errors.
- Assemble supporting exhibits or attachments to documents (e.g. add exhibits to a motion, include case law printouts with a brief) so filings are complete and properly organised.
